The Best Jazz Clubs, Blues Bars in Istanbul
In this section, I will focus on the best jazz clubs, blues bars in Istanbul. Istanbul is a city that dazzles you culturally and historically. It is one of the most vivid cities in the world. This liveliness reflects itself in the events as well.You can find a random live concert during your visit anytime in Istanbul. There are also well-known jazz festivals running by Iksv and Akbank every year. The festivals host many musicians from all over the world. 1- Nardis Jazz Club
Nardis Jazz Club is located in Galata and embedded in historical stones which gives a specific atmosphere for the audiences. In addition to jazz performances, the club also hosts Turkish Folk Music, Turkish Classical Music, acoustic rock performances for 20 years.
It’s one of the oldest jazz bar at the heart of the city. Nardis hosts both Turkish bands/musicians and world-wide musicians on its stage.

2- The Badau
The Badau is another famous jazz venue in Asian side. Eren Noyan, the founder, is also a jazz musician. The location is inside Akasya Avm. It’s the largest jazz club in Turkey.
It is a club where you can treat yourself mentally and physically since they have a great gastro vision as well. At this point, I want to mention about new project of Eren Noyan for people who is into gastro jazz club concept.

3- Gregor by The Badau
Gregor By The Badau is the unique gastro jazz club located in the Orientbank Hotel. The hotel has a very old history and it will dazzle by its historical gate and vault inside.
Gregor by the Badau welcomes you with its impressive ambiance, a great variety menu and a unique jazz experience. You can have a chance to see Eren Noyan Band from time to time.

4- Noasis Jazz Club Bar (Grange Noasis)
Noasis is located in Kadıköy and welcomes all jazz lovers almost every day. It’s on of the well-known jazz bar in Asian side. There are jam sessions along with local and international jazz musicians. It has a cozy and dark atmosphere.
5- Bova Sahne / Bova Jazz Club
This bar is for jazz lovers indeed. There are live jazz performances every night almost. Their location is very close to the Istiklal Street. The stage is at the second floor with a cozy atmosphere. Despite the fact that a newcomer jazz bar, Bova has already become known as one of the prominent stage for both musicians and audience.

6- Ağaç Ev
Ağaç Ev is one of my favorite blues bar for years. Their first location was in Taksim and they closed the doors of this area and moved to Kadıköy. There are live performances every night. It’s a place you can see empty rarely. Staff is very friendly.
Probably it is the only bar you can listen live blues bands every night in Asian side. If you are looking a place offers good music, food and friendly atmosphere, this is your place. Give it a go and you will not regret! (Tip: Sahte Rakı is one of my favorite local rock’n roll&blues bands)
